EA Sports Active
There have been a number of forays into the exercise market on Wii and EA have just released their take on the subject. EA Sports Active is a nice looking addition to the genre and its picked up really positive reviews (81% on metacritic). There’s a trailer below.

News: Family Games Lead the way
The Guardian reports that in the first half of 2009 many of the most popular games were family titles, pushing past traditional games for the first time. They list the top ten as follows.
1. Wii Fit
2. FIFA 09
3. Call Of Duty: World At War
4. Resident Evil 5
5. Wii Play
6. Mario Kart Wii
7. Professor Layton And The Curious Village
8. Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games
9. Street Fighter IV

Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games
Mario and Sonic is one of the best games out there on Wii and DS and the follow up Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics has been confirmed for release in October, again on the Wii and DS. It's out on October 16th.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
There's a new Harry film in the cinemas so of course there's a game to go with it. this one's been optmised more for Wii and DS gameplay.
